A colourful hybrid camellia with small, reddish pink, trumpet-shaped single flowers with bold yellow stamens. The flowers are lightly scent and they appear from around autumn to winter. New evergreen foliage will have a hint of red. Medium open spreading growth to 1.5m. Prefers semi shade. The translation of the name 'Koto no Kaori' is 'Perfume of the Ancient Capital'.
