This is one versatile plant. Grow it as a ground cover, shrub or climber, its habit lends itself to all three. The dark green foliage changes to bronze and sometimes red in the cooler months. Intensely fragrant clusters of waxy, white flowers appear in the warm months. When growing as climber, it needs a supporting structure to climb up. It is also a good option for espalier and it thrives in pots and tubs too. Trim to maintain shape once or twice a year. Fertilise in spring. Sun or shade. Height: varies from 20cm high when being grown as a ground cover, up to 5 metres if grown as a climber.
