If a white flowering cherry is what you are after, then ‘Shirotae’ has to be a top contender. This tree just wants to please and covers its branches with masses upon masses of pure white scented blooms throughout the main part of spring. Then its wide branches provide a shade canopy and cover themselves in pretty, green leaves which change to burnt orange tones in autumn. Sun or part shade. Height: 3.5 metres 3.5 metres wide.
