The Calathea Lancifolia or rattlesnake Plant has slender pale green leaves with dark bloches and a purple underside. They thrive in a bright spot with no direct sunlight. Ensure the soil is always moist but not waterlogged, during winter only water when the top soil has become dry to the touch.
